The Journey
DAY 1: NAIROBI – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Your Kenyan safari begins early in the morning with a pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or residence. Depart for Amboseli National Park, enjoying the scenic drive through the Kenyan countryside.
Arrive in Amboseli in time for lunch and check in at your lodge or camp. After some time to settle in and relax, head out for your first afternoon game drive.
Explore the park’s open plains with the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro providing a spectacular backdrop. Keep your eyes open for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes and other wildlife.
Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: FULL DAY AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Wake up early and enjoy breakfast before heading out for an exciting morning game drive. The early hours offer excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography, with Mount Kilimanjaro often visible in the distance.
Return to the lodge for lunch and some time to relax.
In the afternoon, head out for another game drive across the Amboseli plains. Continue exploring the park in search of elephants and other wildlife before returning to your lodge in the evening.

DAY 3: AMBOSELI – OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY
After breakfast, check out and depart Amboseli for Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Enjoy the scenic journey through the Kenyan countryside as you make your way towards Laikipia.
Arrive at Ol Pejeta in time for lunch and check in at your lodge or camp. After some time to relax, proceed for an afternoon game drive within the conservancy.
Ol Pejeta is renowned for its diverse wildlife and conservation initiatives, offering opportunities to see rhinos, elephants, lions, buffaloes and other wildlife

DAY 4: OL PEJETA – SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE
After breakfast, check out and depart for Samburu National Reserve.
Enjoy the scenic drive northwards towards Samburu, where the landscape gradually changes into the dramatic semi-arid scenery of northern Kenya.
Arrive at your lodge or camp, check in and have lunch.
Later in the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive in Samburu National Reserve. Explore the reserve in search of its unique wildlife, including the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, Somali ostrich and Beisa oryx.
Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: FULL DAY SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE
After breakfast, head out for a full-day game drive through Samburu National Reserve.
Explore the reserve’s rugged landscapes and wildlife-rich plains while enjoying the opportunity to spot both common and unique northern Kenyan species.
Enjoy a picnic lunch or return to the lodge for lunch, depending on the day’s programme. Continue with your game drive in the afternoon before returning to the lodge in the evening.

DAY 6: SAMBURU – LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, check out and depart Samburu for Lake Nakuru National Park.
Proceed south through the scenic Kenyan countryside and arrive in the Nakuru area. Check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch.
Later, head out for an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Explore the park’s diverse landscapes and look out for rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, lions and numerous bird species.
Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

DAY 7: LAKE NAKURU – MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
After breakfast, check out and depart for the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve.
Enjoy the scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley and rural Kenyan landscapes as you make your way towards the Mara.
Arrive in time for lunch and check in at your lodge or camp. After some time to relax, head out for an afternoon game drive.
Explore the Mara’s vast grasslands in search of elephants, lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and other wildlife.
Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

DAY 8: FULL DAY MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
After breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive in the Maasai Mara.
Spend the day exploring the reserve’s expansive savannah plains, following wildlife and visiting some of the best game-viewing areas. The Mara is famous for its abundant wildlife and is one of Kenya’s premier safari destinations.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve or return to the lodge for lunch, depending on the day’s programme.
Continue exploring the Mara in the afternoon before returning to your lodge in the evening.

DAY 9: MAASAI MARA – NAIROBI | DEPARTURE
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before checking out.
Depart Maasai Mara and begin your journey back to Nairobi. Enjoy the changing scenery as you travel from the Mara’s grasslands towards the capital.
