You will be picked from the airport/hotel/place of residence at around 6.30am by an English-speaking driver guide, who will brief you on the journey you are about to embark on. Depart Nairobi at around 7 am and head for a picturesque drive to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve via Narok town passing by the Great Rift Valley. Stop for some time at the view point to enjoy the breathtaking views and take some photos of the largest Valley in the world, said to be visible from outer space.

Masai Mara Reserve is the most popular tourism destination in Kenya. Located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Wildlife is most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment. It’s regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. It is in the Mara that the most spectacular of the natural wonders of the world takes place, the wildebeest migration.

You will arrive at your camp in time for lunch, then later at 4 pm, have an afternoon game drive and thereafter return to the camp for a freshly prepared dinner and overnight stay.

You will rise with an early breakfast and proceed for a full-day game drive at the famous reserve. Our guide will bring packed picnic lunch for this full-day game drive experience.

The day is spent exploring the park in search of the big five. The Mara offers a great variety and abundance of wildlife that is truly difficult to believe that over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. During the game drive you will easily see rhinos, leopard, elephants, buffalo, wildebeests, zebra, warthog, Jackals, lions, many types of antelopes, crocodiles and giraffe. Although July, August and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra from Serengeti (Tanzania), you will be rest assured to see a wildebeest during a drive any day at the Mara.

On this day you can also have an optional hot air ballon safari early in the morning for an aerial view of the park and a visit to the Masai village in the afternoon to experience and learn about the contemporary culture and indigenous lifestyle of the Masai people. After a day-filled game experience, you will later return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
